Konstructa Hire has an uncompromising approach to safety management and performance. Nothing takes priority over our drive to meet the strictest safety standards in every thing we do. That’s proven by our accident-incident rate, which is 50% lower than the average for the construction industry.

Our manufacturing facility has achieved OHSAS 18001 accreditation for its occupational health and safety management systems, recognising that it works safely and produces buildings that are safe to use for our customers.

Robust safety practices and policies
The health and safety standards we adhere to are set out in a series of comprehensive policies, statements and guidelines. To ensure we uphold the highest possible safety standards at all times, our work is guided by strict method statements and rigid installation procedures, designed to minimise risks at every stage.

Our health and safety specialists can carry out thorough risk assessments of every site prior to delivery if required, to ensure that we mitigate against any site-specific risk factors during delivery and installation. All lifting procedures are carried out in accordance with current legislation and British Standard BS7121. 

All lifts comply with stringent safety regulations and the fleet has a low-level lifting system incorporated as standard enabling buildings to be delivered without the need for operatives to leave the ground meeting Work at Height Regulations 2005.
