AE Yates is a leading civil engineering and tunnelling contractor with a track record of success in public and private sector construction projects for roads, bridges, utilities and tunnels. A five-month project to improve drainage on the M56 required extensive accommodation to be supplied for the on-site team, based at Chester motorway services.

Solution:

The company ordered 11 32-foot units to house offices, kitchens, toilets, a canteen and a drying room for the workforce based at Chester. With just ten days’ notice, Konstructa prepared the buildings to AE Yates’ specifications, delivered and installed them on site. Maintaining its brand identity on site is important for a leading contractor like AE Yates, so Konstructa painted all of the units in the company’s corporate livery.

One day before the delivery date, AE Yates added an additional building to the order, which Konstructa was able to supply without delaying the originally agreed schedule. Once on site, the buildings were linked and double-stacked to maximise the space available at the service station.

The buildings were installed by the professional and experienced Konstructa team in just two days, and were fitted out with all furniture, kitchenware and consumables requested by the customer.

All Konstructa buildings are specially designed to withstand the rigours of a building-site environment. The anti-vandal units are constructed entirely from steel, providing excellent levels of security, as well as a comfortable workplace for occupants.
